Criss Cross Braided Bun

The Criss Cross Braided Bun is super easy and simple.  With buns being so popular at the moment, we're always on the look out for new designs and we've certainly had fun doing this one.  If your daughters are constantly requesting buns, then this one is great.  You can wear it high and messy for teen styles or low and chic for something special. You can also do the braided accents on top like we have, or underneath for something different if you are wearing it high. (It just sets it off if it's higher to go underneath).  This hairstyle suits long and extra long hair, but we've done it on shoulder length hair too, the bun is just smaller and you just tuck the braids into the bun instead of going round it.  Let us know what you think and have fun with this hairstyle...

How To Do The Braided Twist

Here it is!  At last we show you how to do the braided twist..
 What I love about this hairstyle is once you've had a couple of practices, it becomes easier and easier, in fact it is so much easier than french braids or dutch braids as you only have to work with or hold 4 strands of hair, instead of 5.  This is a big deal when you are working with hair that is so long ;)
The twisted braid can be done on medium length hair, long or extra long hair (basically if you can french braid it, you can twist braid it). It will only take you 5 minutes or less, and you can be creative and do two braids, diagonal (our current favourite) or the simple single style we've chosen here.

Diagonal Twist Braid with Pony

Got no time for a french braid, but looking for something just as cool?  Well the braided twist is the new *black* and we've mixed it up a little for you in today's hairstyle by making it diagonal AND into an easy ponytail style.  You and your little Rapunzel will really enjoy this one.  It's perfect for school and will be just the trick to get you into the new twisted braids.  Get ready, because next week we're going to show you the full twisted braid but for this week, here is a little taster :)

How to Organise Your Hair Things

I've been hearing from many of you - "How the heck do I organise the kids hair things?"  Many people comment on just how much "Hair Stuff" my Rapunzel's and me must own - Well, I can tell you now... Whatever you're thinking double it and you might have some idea LOL. Seriously, if you're sick of constantly picking up hair things from all around the house, I have a solution for you.  This video will show you all my best tips and tricks to get you organised and hopefully help you keep it that way.  I'll even show you how to get the kids involved, so it might not even be your problem anymore ;-)  Have fun with this one!

Nest of Braids Bun

Hi Guys,
It's been a while since we've had as much fun with a hairdo as this one.  We wanted to create something really special, but in sticking with our 5 minute rule it HAD to be simple.  To make it even easier, you'll notice we used a Ponytail Flipping Tool (Topsy Tail), but if you don't have one, remember you can make your own from a coat hanger - Check out our video on how to do that by CLICKING HERE.
(We've also inserted a link in this video if you just watch below).  Or you can use a rat tail comb and your fingers - (don't be put off, it is do-able), and we show you how.  I'm sure you'll agree, this is a GREAT hairstyle, which we know you'll master quickly and love - Have fun with this one :-)
